Herakles Farms is focused on large-scale sustainable agricultural projects in Africa. The management team has a proven track record developing environmentally and socially responsible projects that result in economic development and shared value in some of the least-developed African countries, and has received numerous awards for its work.

Herakles Farms is committed to sustainable palm oil production, and looks to the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Performance Standards to ensure that palm oil is produced in an economically and environmentally sustainable way through credible global standards and engagement of stakeholders. Although not a member, the Company also looks to the Principles and Criteria on sustainable palm oil production developed by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) for best practices. Herakles Farms is partnered with the nonprofit, All for Africa, which funds projects focused on agriculture, clean water, community health, education, energy, environmental impact, micro-financing and skills training/livelihood creation.
